Read the pressure and measure the temperature of the location you want to check. Then look at your Pressure Teperature Chart for the corresponding temperature for the existing pressure you just measured. If the temperature on the chart is higher then the corresponding temperature for the existing pressure, then that's your superheat. If the existing temperature is lower then the coresponding temperature (on the PT chart) then it's subcooled.
If your temperature on your Pressure temperature chart corresponds with pressure you've measured then it's saturated. Superheated, Saturated, or Subcooled. |

I been asked that before , But i cant say that i am.
I am only a Tech, Had my own gig going on the side when i was facility engineer. I am a site promoter. I will be posting a lot more , been on vacation. What Me Worry? ~Alfred E. Newman
